Ateliers d'art de France presents

Sublimated paper

Paper comes to life under the glass roofs of the Grand Palais, after being transformed by the expert hands of exceptional material artists. Their creations reinvent paper in unexpected ways, as both a material for artistic expression and a medium for technical exploration. Sculpted, folded, cut or assembled, paper becomes a vehicle for emotion and reflection, capturing the poetry of textures, playing with light and telling unique stories.

Révélations invites you to discover a preview of the creators who sublimate paper with elegance and mastery. Here, we focus on five of them.

KHJ Studio (South Korea)

New exhibitor at Révélations 2025

Hyun Joo Kim works with Hanji (traditional Korean mulberry paper) to create 3D paper reliefs, mulberry fibre sculptures and paper craft objects. She learned how to make this material in the town of JeonJu - a place famous for its manufacture in South Korea - and developed her own technique. Her series of paper sculptures grew out of experimentation, with the creation of three-dimensional sculptural objects working solely with Dak - mulberry fibre - the basic material of Hanji, without using any other materials. Her aim is to develop new textures and surfaces, and perhaps a new aesthetic sensibility. The designer has collaborated with many international brands, including Hermès, Polène and Calvin Klein. Her work has been collected by Hermès, the Leeum Samsung Art Museum, the Falling Water Museum, Three Waterline Square, Lexus and private collectors.

Lucie Touré (France)

Exhibitor since Révélations 2023

A textile and paper creator, Lucie Touré exhibited at the last edition of Révélations. She combines the techniques of needlepoint glass bead embroidery, weaving and paper cutting, modifying the appearance of paper to make it more sublime and offer new uses. Lucie Touré worked for several years in Parisian workshops, collaborating with the most prestigious Ready-to-Wear and Haute-Couture houses such as Louis Vuitton and Guerlain. She designed the window displays for Carven on the Champs Elysées and Vacheron Constantin, as well as the Cartier boutiques on Rue de la Paix and in Chengdu (China). In 2018, she set up her workshop, driven by the desire to weave links between paper and exceptional craftsmanship.

Diane Cornu (France)

New exhibitor at Révélations 2025

Diane Cornu is a paper horticulturist who creates plant forms using old-fashioned haute-couture techniques derived from the floral parlor trade and transformed onto top-of-the-range paper. Her intention is to reveal a sensitive vision of the plant world that surrounds us, by creating a universe where realism and dreaminess mingle. From her workshop in the heart of Sorèze Abbey, a historic monument near Toulouse, she reinterprets the ancient art of making artificial flowers from fabric. She creates hybrid plant species, questioning our relationship with time and the evolution of living things through the codes of botany. Diane Cornu creates unique works for exceptional venues, luxury brands and contemporary art centres, notably at the Royal Monceau as part of Roland Garros 2024 or for the boutique of chocolate-maker Louis Fouquet on avenue Montaigne.

Marie Gobert (France)

New Revelations 2025 exhibitor

An expert in paper, Marie Gobert explores its infinite possibilities with remarkable finesse. With a deft touch and meticulous precision, she folds and sculpts paper, constantly pushing back the limits of its fragility. Guided by a fascination with fractals, her artistic journey has led her to explore in depth the world of complex cut-outs and meticulous superimpositions, giving rise to dreamlike, abstract bas-reliefs and architectures. Like a lace-maker, she works systematically, cutting, shaping and assembling tiny pieces of paper ad infinitum, only to be surprised by the result. This paper expert also creates bespoke cases, window displays and advertising decors for brands such as Dior and Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

Marjorie Colas (France)

New exhibitor at Révélations 2025

Her paper creations are inspired by the plant world and poetry. Marjorie Colas uses paper to play with space and the architecture of a place, in the form of wall installations or hanging pieces. The papers are cut, folded and patinated by hand with gold leaf, always in a dreamlike universe. She plays with the fragility of paper, its lights and shadows, combining it with gilding and other materials such as glass, fabric and metal. Marjorie Colas also works with some of the world's leading luxury brands, including Messika and Mugler, as well as with the luxury hotel industry (Ritz, Plaza Athénée, Sofitel).

Anne-Charlotte Saliba (France) - Represented by Eric Hennebert

As winner of the Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d'Art (2020), her creations were presented at Révélations in 2022 and 2023

Anne-Charlotte Saliba is a contemporary artist specialising in sculpture on paper. She creates lighting fixtures and bas-reliefs in paper, drawing inspiration from nature to create delicate, poetic works. Anne-Charlotte Saliba's creations are characterised by a confrontation between the smooth and the granular on the same surface, using perforations and incisions to play on the elasticity of the paper and create subtle reliefs. Her works, often presented under glass, reflect a technical mastery and artistic sensitivity that highlight the beauty and fragility of paper. She has worked with Ruinart, Courvoisier, Château Bonalgue in Pomerol and Dior. Anne-Charlotte Saliba is represented by Eric Hennebert.
