A WORD FROM OF THE CURATOR IRINE SAGANELIDZE

A group of artists from the Tbilisi National Academy of Arts, supported by the Georgian Ministry of Culture, represent Georgia at the heart of the 7th edition of the biennial Révélations. The Georgian pavilion showcases the nation's rich artistic heritage, with particular emphasis on its long history of winemaking.

The exhibition highlights a range of unique craft practices and artistic expressions, including textiles and ceramics, specially made for the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the contemporary works of these talented Georgian artists, combining technical tradition, historical roots and innovation of form. The exhibition includes works by one emerging and one renowned artist, together celebrating Georgia's unique cultural heritage.

While this selection honors Georgia's traditional and singular crafts, it also fits in perfectly with an international and contemporary art dynamic.
