Ateliers d'art de France presents

International Exhibition Le Banquet

a celebration of the diversity of crafts in the world

For this 6th edition, the Révélations Biennial reconnects with its keenly anticipated International exhibition Le Banquet, a true dialogue between cultures and the high point of the Biennial.

Designed as an exhibition of exceptional fine craft workshops from all four corners of the world, Le Banquet presents new signatures and fresh looks on craftsmanship from 10 countries and regions of the world with around a hundred bold pieces.

As a tribute to universality and diversity – some of the values promoted by Ateliers d’Art de France – curators from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania were invited by Révélations to present the boldest expressions of international contemporary creation.

New edition

The signature of the biennial, the international exhibition Le Banquet, which brings together a hundred or so works of art from 10 regions of the world, has become in just a few editions a source of dialogue and exchange around the world's materials and know-how.

A tour of Europe is followed by a discovery of creations made in France with a very particular vision by a key institution in the field of crafts, completed by a dive into the know-how of Portugal, but also of China, Egypt, Rwanda through Ukraine, Ecuador ... Featured in this edition, Quebec presents two selections: one of Quebec creators, the other of material artists from the First Nations.

At the heart of the refined scenography, each space of the Banquet is supported by a reference institution and unveils new and contemporary views of nearly 70 craftsmen, material artists, designers and manufacturers on ancestral or ultra-modern techniques in order to fully integrate the crafts in the cultural and economic dynamics of tomorrow. More than 100 works and installations never before seen in France can be discovered in the Grand Palais Éphémère. A show of colours, materials, know-how and artistic universes...
