Graduated in Arts and Master in Art Studies, Damian has worked as a professional artist since 2008, specifically in the field of wood sculpture, achieving local and national recognition as one of the most important contemporary sculptors in the field. His work has been exhibited in Ecuador as well as in Cuba, Mexico, Brazil and Chile.
