Evoking our connections with objects, place, and language, Nico Williams' sculptures represent familiar objects that are hand-woven from thousands of glass beads. The beaded safety fence represents the ongoing colonial relationships with indigenous territories in North America, by hinting at the blocking, digging and changing of natural landscapes.
