Ito Laïla was born in Quebec in 1985. Her artistic practice explores the frontier between human beauty and ugliness. Her creation involves an intimate exploration of wild territories and their material as well as immaterial resources. Womanhood, the primitive and the obsession with the life and death cycle stem from her chimeric work.
