Artistic Steering Committee

The Artistic Steering Committee for the 7th edition of Révélations, which selects and ensures the impeccable quality of the biennial, is composed of 13 personalities from the world of design, collectors, galleries, internationally renowned institutions and artists.

Stéphane Galerneau

As the President of Ateliers d’Art de France, the French professional organization for fine crafts, since October 2022, Stéphane Ga­lerneau represents a new dialogue and unites all actors who are ready to commit for creation, highlighting the assets and values of the sector. Designer and interior designer by training, having placed his creativity at the service of major tableware companies, Stéphane Galerneau, an art caster who settled his Création Galant workshop near Poitiers, is a field man, committed to revealing the talents settled throughout all territories, without borders.

Sylvie Adigard

Journalist

Passionate about creativity in the broadest sense of the term, but the art of living in particular, Sylvie Adigard has been defending the arts and crafts, design and architecture on French television for many years. What interests her above all is the human encounter. Behind every form of creation, there is the passion and gesture of a person... She likes them to tell their stories and explain their creative intent. Sylvie Adigard is a juror and expert in a number of prestigious competitions and awards, and has also produced and directed documentaries on design, architecture and know-how.

Alain Chiglien et Robert Nilsson

Gallerists – Galerie NeC Nilsson et Chiglien

Always art collectors, R. Nilsson and A. Chiglien have developed unique expertise and are now recognised for what has become their specialty: contemporary ceramics, elevated to the rank of sculpture and part of a dynamic of technical as well as formal innovation within the visual arts. Today, the gallery focuses and continues its search for new talents with the same concern for consistency in its choices to support its collectors in forming ever more innovative collections.

Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski

Originally from Chile, Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski is a designer and artistic director (Maison Odiot, Haviland Group, Elastica Design) who has lived in Paris since 2001. His passion for craftsmanship, manual production techniques and attention to detail has allowed him to develop in an environment where uniqueness and manual know-how are valued.

Jean-Marc Dimanche

Exhibition curator, De Mains de Maîtres Biennial of Luxembourg

After having created and directed for 20 years the design agency V.I.T.R.I.O.L., he was called in 2016 as an advisor to H.R.H. Crown Princess of Luxembourg, and worked on the implemen­tation of the biennial De Mains De Maîtres, of which he is now the general curator. Since spring 2019, the date of its opening in Brussels, he has also directed Eleven Steens, a private space dedicated to Art and Matter. In 2024, he co-founded ceramic brussels, an art fair dedicated to contemporary ceramics.

Marc Douesnard

Metal artist, President of Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec (CMAQ)

Working in his own art ironwork workshop in Quebec, Marc Douesnard was elected in 2018 President of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec (CMAQ). His role is to represent, support and develop fine craft professions in Quebec, contributing to the promotion and professionalization of practices. CMAQ is also a Quebecois distributor specializing in current fine craft professions. They provide distribution platforms such as shops or professional fairs, and they help craftspeople develop on international markets

Charlotte Duvivier-Lebrun

Charlotte du Vivier-Lebrun's entire career has been marked by a passion for the decorative arts. During her years spent in several Parisian auction houses, she has devoted herself to promoting French craftsmanship, particularly in the field of contemporary ceramics. Since 2018, she has been the director of the Toile de Jouy Museum, where she is particularly interested in showing the links between contemporary creation and industrial and artisanal traditions.

Elisa Guidi

Architect; Coordinator of projects of Artex

Since 1996, Elisa Guidi has worked for Artex, Center for Artistic and Traditional Crafts for Tuscany, managing projects concerning the link between crafts and cultural heritage and developing projects about innovation in crafts. She is member of the board of the Foundation MIC – International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza since 2016. Committed to the sector, she was President of the European Crafts Alliance from September 2020 to July 2023. She is currently involved in several boards and scientific committees in Italy and at European level.

Hervé Lemoine

President of the Manufactures nationales

General heritage curator Hervé Lemoine worked as Director of the French Archives at the Ministry of Culture and Communication from 2010 to 2018. In February 2018, he was appointed Director of Mobilier national and since the institution changed statuses in 2022, President of Mobilier national. In November 2022, he was commissioned by the Minister of Culture to develop new conver­gences between Mobilier national the Cité de la céramique – Sèvres and Limoges. In January 2025, he became Chairman of this new public institution, Manufactures nationales - Mobilier national & Sèvres.

Laura Miguel Baumann

Secretary General of the European Crafts Alliance, the European branch of the World Crafts Council

Laura Miguel Baumann has also worked as a consultant for national and international customers, related to the craft sector, design and the cultural and creative industries. She has worked both in the private sector, as well as in non-profit organizations and public bodies, especially in Spain, but also in other countries such as Serbia or Belgium. For more than 14 years, she has been managing projects to strengthen and improve the competitiveness of the craft sector, as well as promotion and enhancement. She has been part of juries for awards and recognitions to the craft sector and has been in charge of numerous exhibitions.

Yves Mikaeloff

Engineer, collector, former General Secretary of La Biennale Paris

A designer, collector and antiques dealer, Yves Mikaeloff has long been the General Secretary of La Biennale Paris, an antiques event in Paris attended by art dealers from all over the world. This “incredible” line of work has given him the opportunity to become more socially involved in fine crafts.

Pascal Oudet

Woodturner, Treasurer of Ateliers d'Art de France

His pieces are inspired by the wear and tear of time, revealing the deep structure of wood and the history of trees. Using carefully selected oak trees, he creates extremely fine shapes, revealing their structure by sandblasting. In a constant balance between aggressiveness to wear down the material, and delicacy to preserve its integrity, he gives birth to a veritable lace of wood. The technique he invented won him the “Liliane Bettencourt Award for Hand Intelligence, Talents d’Exception”. 

Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc

Designer, cabinetmaker, teacher at the ENSAD school of Nancy

Designer (Ensci Paris), researcher, teacher (Ensad Nancy) and artistic director (Cristallerie Daum 1999/2011), Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc pays particular attention to materials and know-how. He has worked for many companies, galleries and institutions: Cheval Blanc, Hermès, Meisenthal, Maison Berger, the Cathedral of Toul, Saint-Gobain, Salviati... In 2020 he carried out an artist's residency at the Musverre – museum of glass –, which produced the results in 2021, around the exhibition "Letters of glass, an eclipse of the object".
