Oscillating between the ceramic and textile arts, the Greek Banquet establishes correspondences between figures of 20th century art, including Eleni Vernadaki, a monument of ceramic art, and the new generation of artists exploring the fields of the body, space and materiality. Supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture, the five artists unveil a vibrant and sensitive dialogue.
The Greek Ministry of Culture, in close collaboration with the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Western Macedonia, is inviting its fine craft artists to take part in Révélations for the first time. A subtle correspondence is established between key Greek figures in 20th century art and artists of the new generation, particularly involved in the fields of ceramics and textiles.
